
Meet Dr Sally at a Glance
Dr Sally McLeod completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2009 before undertaking her junior doctor training at the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane. She completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016.
Sally has a special interest in ADHD and is passionate about helping adolescents and adults better understand how their brain works. She provides thorough, evidence-based assessments and works collaboratively with patients to develop practical, individualised treatment plans.

ADHD in women and girls - including late diagnosis in adulthood
High-functioning and late-identified ADHD in professionals
Perimenopause and its interaction with ADHD and mental health
Autism, anxiety and depression in the context of neurodivergence
Patients appreciate Sally’s warm, approachable nature and the time she takes to listen. She strives to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where patients feel genuinely heard and cared for.
Outside of medicine, Sally enjoys spending time with her three sons. She loves reading, music, and the outdoors, particularly bushwalking, camping and travelling to remote parts of Australia.
