Meet Sophie-Leigh at a Glance
Sophie is a compassionate mental health nurse with over six and a half years of nursing experience across a variety of clinical settings. She is passionate about mental health, neurodiversity and supporting individuals to better understand themselves, particularly following an ADHD diagnosis.
With a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, Sophie has undertaken specialist education through PESI Australia in a range of ADHD-related areas, including executive functioning, time management, emotional wellbeing, relationships, workplace challenges and strategies to support children and adolescents with ADHD.
In her one-on-one ADHD coaching sessions, Sophie takes a warm, empathetic and person-centred approach, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood and empowered. She recognises that receiving an ADHD diagnosis can bring a mixture of relief, uncertainty and new questions, and is passionate about helping individuals make sense of their experiences without judgement.
Sophie works collaboratively with clients and their treating team to explore their individual strengths and challenges, build self-awareness and develop practical strategies that can be applied to everyday life. Her approach focuses on areas such as organisation, routines, executive functioning, self-care and navigating the demands of work and relationships, with strategies tailored to each person’s circumstances and goals.
Sophie believes that understanding ADHD is an important step towards creating meaningful change. Her goal is to help clients move beyond simply understanding their diagnosis and feel more confident putting practical tools into place, building on their strengths and developing approaches that support their wellbeing and everyday lives.
