All Nurtured Thoughts doctors are authorised to prescribe medications, including the full range of treatments approved for ADHD management in New South Wales. Your doctor will discuss appropriate treatment options during your assessment.
You will need an ADHD assessment before beginning treatment. If you already have an ADHD diagnosis (from a psychologist, psychiatrist or paediatrician), our doctor will review your history and conduct a shortened confirmation assessment.
For patients with an existing diagnosis, the cost is $995. For new assessments, our diagnostic and treatment package is $1,950 (with an interest-free payment option of $295 upfront, then $31 a week, paid fortnightly).

Our psychiatrists provide ADHD assessment and treatment via telehealth for people living in Sydney and throughout NSW. They also support our doctors with cases requiring advanced diagnostic expertise or complex medication management.
GPs who have undertaken the required training can prescribe ADHD medication in New South Wales.
