Meet Tracey at a Glance

Hello! I’m Tracey, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in counselling, therapy, and psychotherapy. I work with clients of all ages, supporting them through major life transitions such as pregnancy and motherhood, as well as challenges like anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma (including complex PTSD using EMDR therapy), grief, sleep difficulties, disordered eating, and recovery from violence or substance use.

In the past, I’ve provided counselling at QUT, where I supported students of all ages using focused psychological strategies to improve their mental health. I’ve also worked in private practice and led clinical operations in busy mental health settings, including crisis support services. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the pressures and complexities people face in today’s fast paced world.

Clients often describe my approach as warm, empowering, and highly personalised. I use practical, evidence based methods including Individual Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Narrative Therapy. I tailor each session to your unique needs. Keeping things straightforward and free from unnecessary jargon.

Outside of therapy, I strongly believe in the value of connection, balance, and self-care principles, I actively encourage in the lives of the people I work with.
